Chemical peels remove the top layers of the skin to reveal smoother, younger and new skin underneath. Peels are beneficial for a number of reasons: for ageing skin, with wrinkles and age spots, for skin that has been over exposed to the sun or UV rays, or for sufferers of acne or other skin conditions where the surface of the skin is uneven and inflamed

We have a number of chemical peels available to suit particular skin types and needs. Before recommending one to you, we will undergo a full skin analysis to determine which peel best suits your needs. A peel may not be suitable for you if you have very sensitive skin; we will advise you of your suitability to this procedure after your initial consultation

A chemical peel is a common procedure, which has been carried out safely for numerous years by accredited practitioners. However, it will require you to care for your skin in specific ways after your treatment. For up to six weeks after your peel, you will need to apply dedicated products to your skin in order to help it heal. You will also have to avoid direct sunlight to the skin for this period, by applying SPF 60 products to the face for the time specified by your practitioner.
